Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee all sales activities within the designated region. This role involves securing specifications, supporting customers, and identifying sales opportunities through both new and existing distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of our products, the market, and competitors, ensuring effective management and growth of key accounts.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage sales operations within the regional area, and occasionally in other areas as required.
- Maintain regular contact with customers and manage a portfolio of key accounts.
- Attend exhibitions and sales meetings as necessary.
- Secure quotations and proactively manage opportunities from initial contact through to sales order and after-sales service to generate repeat business.
- Maintain the CRM database to ensure consistent tracking and servicing of the customer base.
- Develop detailed sales plans for the region and ensure their execution.
- Analyse sales performance and instigate necessary changes to boost sales and identify new opportunities.
- Report sales figures and performance metrics to the Head of Sales regularly and present sales activities as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales with a good knowledge of the industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with a proven ability to implement effective plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to quickly acquire new IT skills, such as CRM systems.
- Must possess a UK Driving License.
