Our company is looking for a senior support worker to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the requirements of legislation, Care Standards and the Company’s Policies and Procedures are followed;
  • To provide written and verbal reports on Service Users, on the frequency as set by the manager, and any other reports as requested by the manager;
  • To undertake property viewings as required, and report these back to sales executives and manager;
  • Evaluate care plans and standards of care competence;
  • Attend and lead meetings (Manager and staff meetings);
  • Maximising service user outcomes by working closely with the service user, their family and friends, staff and involved professionals;
  • To act immediately on taking on new referrals/enquiries;
  • Address, investigate and rectify and complaints or issues from residents, visitors or care staff;
  • To make the manager aware of empty stock and report this back to manager and sales executive immediately;
  • Auditing of service paperwork on a monthly basis;
  • ensure all incidents and behaviours are recorded and reported effectively and accurately;
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the service;
  • Train/mentor/improve staff as required;
  • Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise;
  • Be responsible for the Health and Safety aspect for the unit.

  • Recent experience working either as a Senior Residential Support Worker or as a Residential Support Worker in a Children’s Home;

  • Full UK driving licence;
  • Is actively involved in meeting own and team objectives through encouraging and supporting others;
  • To enable individuals to develop strategies to support their individual needs;
  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification);
