Our company is looking for a senior support worker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the requirements of legislation, Care Standards and the Company’s Policies and Procedures are followed;
- To provide written and verbal reports on Service Users, on the frequency as set by the manager, and any other reports as requested by the manager;
- To undertake property viewings as required, and report these back to sales executives and manager;
- Evaluate care plans and standards of care competence;
- Attend and lead meetings (Manager and staff meetings);
- Maximising service user outcomes by working closely with the service user, their family and friends, staff and involved professionals;
- To act immediately on taking on new referrals/enquiries;
- Address, investigate and rectify and complaints or issues from residents, visitors or care staff;
- To make the manager aware of empty stock and report this back to manager and sales executive immediately;
- Auditing of service paperwork on a monthly basis;
- ensure all incidents and behaviours are recorded and reported effectively and accurately;
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the service;
- Train/mentor/improve staff as required;
- Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise;
- Be responsible for the Health and Safety aspect for the unit.

- Recent experience working either as a Senior Residential Support Worker or as a Residential Support Worker in a Children’s Home;

- Full UK driving licence;
- Is actively involved in meeting own and team objectives through encouraging and supporting others;
