Our company is looking for a Business Support Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with incoming emails into the department;
  • Scanning and uploading of documents;
  • Generic administrative support to a team of professionals including managers and social workers;
  • Provide a range of information, research and reports in support of your service area as required;
  • Working in a busy front facing service providing high quality customer service;
  • Organizing room hire;
  • Organising, arranging and coordinating meetings;
  • You will develop, produce and maintain processes, systems, spreadsheets, databases, etc;
  • Perform reception duties such as answering phones;
  • Managing petty cash;
  • Provide an efficient and customer focused first point of contact;
  • Administer business processes and procedures;
  • Booking meetings & taking notes;
  • Stock management and ordering;
  • Administer group e-mail boxes.

Requirements:

  • Ability to deal with confidential information tactfully and with discretion;
  • Experience in business support duties including arranging meetings, and taking minutes which may be of a complex nature ;
  • Inputting and retrieval of data on service based IT system;
  • A flexible, adaptable approach to work with ability to multi task effectively according to business priorities;
  • 6 months’ experience of providing administrative support within an office-based environment within the UK;
  • Competent in working with Outlook and Microsoft Office packages;
  • Eligibility to work in the UK;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
