Our company is looking for a Design Quality Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Integration of Quality throughout the Aircraft Design Review process;
  • Deployment of the practical problem solving (PPS) methodology;
  • Drive standardised mitigation plans in order to prevent/mitigate risk linked to the product and its related processes;
  • Facilitate and support root cause analysis & practical problem solving activities;
  • Capture lessons learned in order to improve organisation efficiency and product maturity;
  • Integrate the Quality standard methodologies into the Engineering Teams through regular maturity assessments and follow on sessions;
  • Drive and manage improvement projects in order to support the achievement of the Engineering Wing quality targets;
  • Definition and deployment of the Quality element of the client’s Visual Management System (VMS) into the Engineering Teams;
  • Accountability for the successful delivery of multiple simultaneous projects, spanning multiple functional areas and locations;
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities into the Engineering Teams;
  • Support the deployment of Quality standards and apply them within the Engineering organisation;
  • Assist Design Engineering teams as the Design Quality Engineer focal point for current and future Aircraft development projects;
  • Facilitate and support the identification of product modes of;
  • Establish and drive corrective and preventive action plans in order to support the improvement of engineering performance and its associated;
  • Support the definition of a set of measurable criteria for the quality of the relevant engineering deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is required, good knowledge of German would be a strong asset;
  • Working knowledge of Design Controls, GMPs, QSR, 21 CFR 820, MDD 93/42/EEC, ISO13485 and ISO14971 quality requirements is required;
  • Previous Quality Engineering experience is preferred;
  • Development and manufacturing experience is preferred;
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical or scientific discipline with hands on experience in related field is required;
  • Experience in a Medical Device regulated environment.
