Our company is looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Servicing and reviewing fire alarm systems and associated products at client sites, and taking responsibility for the maintenance of these systems;
- Completing all new installations;
- Carrying out alterations of existing fire alarms;
- Testing and Inspecting Fire Alarm Systems;
- To be flexible to attend the main office based in Enfield as and when required;
- Installation and maintenance of fire alarm and security systems to BAFE/NSI/BS standards;
- Complete small and larger installations as part of a team or on your own;
- Servicing and diagnostic repairs to various fire alarm systems in both industrial commercial and council properties;
- To service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers Fire / Life Safety systems;
- Advanced;
- Kentec;
- Manage workload;
- Gent;
- Morley;
- To perform installation and service repairs to door access equipment at construction and customer sites.
Requirements:
- FIA Qualified;
- BS 5839- Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings;
- 17th edition – desirable not required;
- knowledge of GENT and intruder alarms;
- Own tools;
- Manufacturer training;
- Competent to work independently or as part of a team;
- Full UK driving licence;
- NVQ level 3 in electrical installation work or approved equivalent;
- Must have a full UK driving license;
- FIA Unit 1 (Fire Detection Design);
- Electrically qualified;
- Candidate must have a full driving license;
- FIA Unit 5 (Fire Alarm Maintenance);
- Electrical qualifications advantageous.
