Our company is looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and reviewing fire alarm systems and associated products at client sites, and taking responsibility for the maintenance of these systems;
  • Completing all new installations;
  • Carrying out alterations of existing fire alarms;
  • Testing and Inspecting Fire Alarm Systems;
  • To be flexible to attend the main office based in Enfield as and when required;
  • Installation and maintenance of fire alarm and security systems to BAFE/NSI/BS standards;
  • Complete small and larger installations as part of a team or on your own;
  • Servicing and diagnostic repairs to various fire alarm systems in both industrial commercial and council properties;
  • To service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers Fire / Life Safety systems;
  • Advanced;
  • Kentec;
  • Manage workload;
  • Gent;
  • Morley;
  • To perform installation and service repairs to door access equipment at construction and customer sites.

Requirements:

  • FIA Qualified;
  • BS 5839- Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings;
  • 17th edition – desirable not required;
  • knowledge of GENT and intruder alarms;
  • Own tools;
  • Manufacturer training;
  • Competent to work independently or as part of a team;
  • Full UK driving licence;
  • NVQ level 3 in electrical installation work or approved equivalent;
  • Must have a full UK driving license;
  • FIA Unit 1 (Fire Detection Design);
  • Electrically qualified;
  • Candidate must have a full driving license;
  • FIA Unit 5 (Fire Alarm Maintenance);
  • Electrical qualifications advantageous.
