Fire & Security Service Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Attending call-outs;
- CCTV systems;
- Servicing Systems,
- VESDA systems (or equivalent);
- There is an on call rota;
- Intruder Alarm systems;
- Occasional small installations and commissioning,
- Fire alarms (all types);
- Training will be provided for the commissioning of systems;
- Access control systems.
Requirements:
- To be open to cross training and self-improvement;
- FIA Qualified;
- BS 5839- Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings;
- Any other relevant industry qualifications;
- BS5266-1 – Emergency lighting;
- Recognised qualifications in fire & security/electrical;
- 17th edition – desirable not required;
- Possesses a clear understanding of responsibilities under health and safety legislation;
- Demonstrable strong technical understanding of all disciplines of Fire & Security Services.
