Graduate Building Surveyor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Corresponding with Clients – Communicating with clients and representing the company in a professional and diligent manner;
- A typical day will usually involve one or more visits outside of the office so you will need to be prepared to travel;
- Building Design / CAD;
- Assisting on a range of surveys on Commercial and / or Residential Property;
- Tendering;
- Assisting in Contract Administration.
Requirements:
- Commercially driven and ambitious to achieve;
- Must be a good team player but able to work independently;
- Confident, client facing communicator both verbally and in writing;
- Thorough understanding of the needs and demands of clients and will to exceed their expectations;
- Have a RICS accredited undergraduate degree or a RICS accredited Post-Graduate Diploma or Masters;
- Be extremely organised and display excellent attention to detail;
- Good time management skills;
- Diplomatic;
- Accurate;
- Be an excellent communicator and be able to work well in a team environment;
- Be able to learn quickly and have an excellent work ethic to ensure objectives are met;
- Reliable;
- Have basic CAD skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft packages;
- Have a passion for Buildings and be keen to develop a career in Building Surveying.
