Graduate Electrical Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with Contract Administration duties and Project Management duties to include;
- Assists in undertaking site quality control inspections of electrical building services installations, and issue inspection schedules and/or reports;
- Assists with surveys tests and reports on existing electrical installations;
- Assists in the performance and installation monitoring of buildings;
- Assists in review of 3rd party information;
- Assistance with the preparation of Log Books, Manuals and Building User Guides.
Requirements:
- Ability to prioritise own workload;
- Ability to work to deadlines;
- Ability to work in the UK FREELY;
- Knowledge of MS Office applications word, excel, etc;
- MCIBSE/IET or HNC/HND + appropriate experience or equivalent;
- Accredited building services qualification;
- Knowledge of Electrical Services installation desirable;
- Basic knowledge of contracts would be desirable;
- Ability to use IT based calculation and spreadsheet software;
- Basic experience of site quality control and inspections desirable;
- Enthusiastic and ambitious;
- Basic understanding of key Health and Safety issues and legislation;
- Experience with AutoCAD and other software packages;
- Basic understanding of BS standards.
