Principal Electrical Design Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for the project;
- Working on a variety of projects both in the UK and Overseas;
- Attending a range of project group and technical meetings;
- Working as part of a design team to lead and delivery detailed design projects;
- Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures;
- Ensuring that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time;
- CEng or working towards;
- Up to date knowledge of Building legislation;
- Full UK driving license;
- Good knowledge of a variety of different design software;
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a design role in a building services consultancy;
- Degree In either Electrical engineering or building services.
