Our company is looking for a Robotics Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- software development in languages such as C/C++ and Python;
- a practical understanding of electronics;
- use of ROS or another middleware framework;
- applying systems thinking to challenging multi-disciplinary engineering problems;
- the development of air, ground or maritime vehicles (especially robotic vehicles);
- mechanical design and prototyping;
- familiarity with data links, sensors and computing hardware for robotics;
- Experience in computer aided design advantage but not essential;
- Rob Cad eng;
- A solid background in Automation and Controls is essential;
- ABB-IRC5 program or Kuka;
- Fluid and electrical schematic understanding;
- If you have automotive experience typically BIW (body and white technologies) this is an advantage but not essential.
Requirements:
- C/C++ and Matlab;
- Also experience of Continuum robot or software robotics would be beneficial;
- Haptic rendering is desirable;
- Knowledge of Robot kinematics;
- Conceptual thinking ability. Can translate requirements into technical solutions;
- Experience in computer aided design advantage but not essential;
- A solid background in Automation and Controls is essential;
- Problem solving skills;
- Rob Cad eng;
- Robotic programming skills and experience;
- Experience of Fanuc robots would be highly advantageous, but not essential as extensive training is provided;
- If you have automotive experience typically BIW (body and white technologies) this is an advantage but not essential;
- Fluid and electrical schematic understanding;
- PLC experience (Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens);
- ABB-IRC5 program or Kuka.
