Semiconductor Yield Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Semiconductor Yield Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high yields on mature technologies whilst continuously improving baseline yield;
- Yield Improvement on emerging technologies;
- Identification and quick resolution of potential yield and output limiters;
- Work with Product Management to understand product requirements.
Requirements:
- SPC & CPK methodologies (a must );
- Solid understanding of electrical parametric correlation to product yield;
- Deep sense of data driven curiosity;
- Basic device physics understanding / experience;
- Semiconductor high-volume manufacturing experience;
- Semiconductor Yield improvement & excursion management (a must );
- Experience of emerging electronics technologies (electronics on flex/plastic, large-area electronics; “organic” electronics);
- Degree in a technical discipline (an advantage);
- Track record of ability to solve technical problems;
- Integration / Process engineering experience;
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills Highly motivated self-starter and able to drive progress without close supervision;
- Experience of RF electronics;
- Demonstrable ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions to root cause and impact;
- Demonstrable experience in yield analysis techniques and methodologies;
- Higher degree in technical discipline (an advantage).
