Senior Architectural Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Architectural Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Liaison with other departments, consultants, regulatory bodies and site teams;
- Attending site and project meetings;
- Your role would include preparation and coordination of detailed design drawings from planning to construction stage;
- Assist the co-ordination of planning submissions through to approval;
- Manage Building Regs including applications and discharges;
- Working closely with the engineering team and being the expert on everything above the ground;
- Produce bespoke planning drawings to suit planning requirements;
- ‘CAD up’ site layouts.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of UK planning and building regulations;
- Experience working on Hospitality or Food+Beverage projects would be a bonus;
- Degree qualifies Architectural Technician (or equivalent);
- Ideally proficient user of Vectorworks.
