Our company is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Use statistical methods to assure process capability;
  • Suggest design changes to reduce costs, improve manufacturing efficiency, and resolve manufacturing problems;
  • Use Engineering knowledge to design, develop or revise manufacturing processes to eliminate defects or improve cost;
  • New equipment validation – write protocols, execute – URS, IQ, OQ, PQ;
  • Support and develop validation, new equipment and maintenance;
  • Experience of process improvement, LSS and technical implementation;
  • Support continuous improvement (CI), critical equipment evaluation, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM);
  • Support implementing cost savings projects, best practices and next generation technologies;
  • Developing processes in line with world class manufacturing standards; enabling the business to deliver sizable growth opportunities;
  • Working as part of the APQP teams on the manufacturing elements of new product introduction;
  • Minimising and resolving technical downtime issues; troubleshooting;
  • Capturing and analysing data to demonstrate the current and future capability of manufacturing processes, including the analysis of OEE and SPC data;
  • Leading and coordinating problem solving activities as required involving operators and managers across the site;
  • Supervising a Manufacturing Engineer;
  • Appling Lean and Six Sigma techniques to identify, support and lead improvement projects to drive our continuous improvement culture.

Requirements:

  • Lean Manufacturing (appreciation);
  • Six Sigma understanding;
  • PFMEA;
  • A high level of numerical and analytical ability is required along with well developed communication, negotiating and inter-personal skills;
  • ERW (Engineering Review Worksheet);
  • Relevant working experiences in a Manufacturing or Mechanical engineering environment;
  • Level of English: advanced;
  • Understanding of STC / Field Service NPI process roll-out;
  • RASCI, tooling design;
  • Technical degree or equivalent within an engineering discipline;
  • Kaizen (and problem-solving tools);
  • Solid knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering methods;
  • Good / advanced level of O365, Visio, SAP, AUTOCAD / Catia- being able to quickly adjust to new ISIT systems and processes;
  • 12D M3, M4, M5, or M6;
  • KPI understanding and Power BI.
