Structural CAD Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Structural CAD Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with team members and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet required quality and specifications;
- Utilising collaborative tools in order to share data and issue drawings;
- Contribute to the design planning, resourcing and fee planning of specific project teams;
- Producing detailed design drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working on building structures projects;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- At least 1 years’ experience as a CAD Technician;
- Strong communication skills;
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards;
- Experienced in the production of detailed design drawings;
- Strong ability using AutoCAD;
- Specific experience working on Bridge projects;
- Revit experience would be beneficial.
