Our company is looking for a Content Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Define a content strategy and approach, communicate this to teammates, product owners and other stakeholders;
- Ensure you’re always using the right language at the right time and understanding how your content can work in the best possible way for users;
- Pitch & presentation collateral;
- Participate in content audits, and use and content migration plans to ensure that an accurate inventory of content is maintained;
- Content for social media e.g. global events / meetings;
- Work with other content creators to ensure quality and consistency across the Babylon app;
- Structure content to meet users needs, while understanding product and business goals;
- Evangelise for best content practices – clarity, readability, usability, and accessibility – within the product, design and marketing teams;
- Proactively seek areas of improvement in our copy and in our processes and suggest ways to improve;
- Internal & external newsletters;
- Follow a content governance plan, including standards and guidelines;
- Use data and research to evaluate your content’s impact and effectiveness;
- Work with the team to edit, proofread, and consistently improve our work;
- Follow and contribute to success metrics for content initiatives, and use those metrics to improve content as needed;
- Advise on best practice for organising and structuring content for maximum reuse across applications for localisation and scale.
Requirements:
- InDesign;
- PowerPoint;
- Able to work well as an individual and as part of a team;
- Photoshop;
- Illustrator;
- Exposure to user research and testing;
- Excellent time management skills: ability to work well under pressure and able to manage a number of projects concurrently;
- Interest in the UK property industry;
- Microsoft Word;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- A passion for writing & designing;
- Editorial/Journalistic background who can write short and long form copy;
- Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills, including writing for the web;
- Good understanding of UX principles;
- High level of attention to detail including excellent proof reading skills.
