Marketing Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Marketing Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Present designs to key stakeholders and gain alignment around decisions;
- Collaborate with marketers to understand project needs and goals;
- Design landing pages, display ads, emails, presentation decks, illustrations, and animations within the styles defined in our brand guidelines;
- Express your understanding of a customer’s journey through storyboards or user flows;
- Deliver detailed, pixel perfect assets and specs to developers, and ensure the final experience is as designed;
- Sourcing imagery and assets for design projects;
- Supporting written content such as blog posts, ebooks, proposals, PR pieces;
- Designing sales and marketing materials (such as pitch decks, banners, brochures, ebooks, graphics) in both digital and print formats;
- Exploring new ideas for creative content such as videos, interviews and podcasts;
- Establishing a visual brand of PolyAI.
Requirements:
- A creative flair for design, animation and layout;
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office;
- Ability to complete a project from start to finish;
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques;
- Knowledge in preparing files for print;
- Detail oriented, driven and self-motivated;
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a designer;
- Excellent verbal communication skills in expressing design decisions to your team members;
- Experience or knowledge of design systems for web;
- Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision, Webflow, or whatever tools you prefer to get the job done;
- Video Editing Experience;
- Expert knowledge in branding, graphic design and responsive web standards;
- HTML5 and CSS3 aware;
- Excellent written communication skills;
- 2+ years experience in marketing design, ideally in a B2B setting.
