UX Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a UX Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences;
- Collaborate with the creative team to define, shape and implement innovative customer journeys;
- Purpose and meaning – helping our organization grow in understanding and use of Design to solve problems and articulate a desirable future;
- Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant;
- Embed accessibility into visual designs and concepts that meet users’ needs;
- Evangelising a fail-fast company ethos;
- Be the go-to person to ensure interface consistency throughout titles;
- Creating hi-fi designs ready for our dedicated development team;
- Working seamlessly with the Design team, the Product team and the Tech team;
- Follow industry developments and innovation and contribute insight and expertise;
- Presenting your investigations, findings and your proposed new journeys to the wider team;
- Practice industry standard user experience design techniques and processes;
- Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways;
- Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods, such as surveys;
- Build digital prototypes with pace and accuracy.
Requirements:
- User experience mapping and user flow ideation and refinement;
- Proven track record of designing successful products that users love;
- 5+ years UX Design experience in high-growth, high-energy driven company, with strong understanding of working in an Agile environment;
- A fast learner, able to build knowledge of challenging technical workflows and products quickly;
- Portfolio featuring examples of interaction design work;
- An ability to work on multiple projects and manage timelines in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment;
- Strong Stakeholder management with confident and clear communication skills;
- 2+ years of UX experience in a technology (SaaS or product-driven) company design agency;
- Facilitate collaborative, cross-functional workshops to generate a variety and volume of design solutions;
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies;
- Understand our customers through both qual and quant data and apply this context to frame your solutions to roadmap initiatives;
- Open-mindedness to non-traditional solutions;
- User-centric approach to UX;
- Analytical mind with a business acumen;
- Experience in running UX workshops across multiple disciplines, including product and engineering.
