Our company is looking for a Contract Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manager multiple projects at one time with site management teams;
  • Schemes will include new build social housing and industrial steel frame projects;
  • Recognising product technical requirements with regard to marketing and research and relating such information to others as appropriate;
  • Manage site teams;
  • Responsible for providing technical advice to all areas of the Company;
  • Provision of technical support to both customers and the Field Sales team on issues relating to custom-built assemblies;
  • Liaising with the customer to determine requirements;
  • Identifying risk and remedial actions;
  • Develop business cases for product or technology developments as necessary;
  • Develop a comprehensive competitor/partner analysis;
  • Identify strategically significant competitions and ensure bid team is in place to prepare and respond to them;
  • Ensuring client business needs are met by specifying the programme/projects;
  • Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking;
  • Leading and championing the application of suitable programme and project delivery strategies;
  • Will manage a cross functional shared core team and a growing number of competition teams as they are required.

Requirements:

  • Computer literate – with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, with particular reference to Microsoft Excel;
  • Desirable Service Integration and Management qualification;
  • Worked in competitive bidding;
  • Ability to read architects drawings;
  • Knowledge of CAD and taking off from drawings an advantage;
  • Knowledge of joinery contract management an advantage;
  • Desirable service delivery qualification;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills able to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
  • Experience leading teams to successfully deliver against tight deadlines;
  • Relationship management of multi-supply chain;
  • Knowledge of joinery products essential.
