Our company is looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Advising on Production Structures and reviewing structure documentation to ensure they are compliant;
- Oversee the enhanced R&D claim process;
- Prepare the UK corporation tax computations and UK transfer pricing defence documentation;
- Being an integral member in business development to prospective clients;
- Provisioning of tax disclosures and/or tax audit of disclosures, liaising closely with the audit team;
- Developing new solutions at the cutting edge of entrepreneurial tax planning;
- High-level reviews of computations;
- Responsible for negotiating fees and the timely billing of fees for work completed on your client portfolio,
- Undertaking specialist technical assignments as required;
- Development of a detailed knowledge of the firm’s specialist services;
- Work closely with the Group identify Patent Box claims;
- Maintaining and developing a detailed understanding of taxation regulations, industry standards, best practice and client requirements;
- Respond to client partner requests for information on planning opportunities with appropriately researched and documented alternatives;
- Actively involved in training junior staff, including supervision and management of work;
- Review draft UK statutory accounts to ensure that tax entries and subjective issues are presented appropriately from a tax perspective.
Requirements:
- Must be qualified to Graduate level in Accounting or Finance;
- Demonstrable experience in: Managing tax and statutory compliance and reporting on a global basis;
- Experience of Audit practices and working with audit teams;
- Project management and delivery of global tax management projects;
- Preparing tax returns for large global Companies;
- CTA qualification;
- Keen to support the partner team with business development and marketing;
- Confident and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Able to use own initiative;
- Able to absorb and process information to plan and execute tasks appropriately;
- High standard of customer care;
- Able to manage time and workloads to deliver tasks on time;
- Willing and able to adapt to sector developments and emerging issues in tax;
- At least awareness level of knowledge on VAT/Employment tax issues.
