Our company is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Recommendation of credit terms to legal department;
  • Timely completion of credit applications;
  • Review and analysis of clients financial statements;
  • Assisting in stress testing exercises of the portfolio;
  • Preparing portfolio and credit risk management reports;
  • Liaison with Front Office and other departments;
  • Review of industry developments which may affect the credit worthiness of a client;

Requirements:

  • Statistical analysis and data mining to agreed objectives and deadlines;
  • liaising with senior management and internal teams;
  • Experience programming in SAS, SQL, or a similar programming language;
  • manipulating and analysing large sets of customer data using SAS, SQL;
  • Experience in analysing data using statistical packages;
  • Strong communication, relationship and influencing skills to communicate with non-technical stakeholders across the business;
  • investigating and providing insight into portfolio trends;
  • spearheading strategic initiatives to drive portfolio performance;
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role as a Credit Risk Analyst.
