Our company is looking for a Digital Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work to identify efficiencies, highlighting new opportunities to utilise data and improve how business operates;
  • Working with the Marketing Director to build reliable forecasts;
  • Solving analytics problems and delivering specific projects;
  • Reporting back on findings via presentations and documentations, and communicating this back to relevant departments/ key stakeholders;
  • Monitor and analyse trade performance across all brands- including sales, ROI, conversion and marketing spend;
  • Measuring performance against business goals using KPIs and secondary metrics;
  • Automating routine and regular reporting;
  • Validating that changes to the business are working as expected;
  • Get to grips with digital traffic and make recommendations to improve engagement and recirculation to increase customer loyalty;
  • Supporting other departments with providing insights and making recommendations;
  • Create ad-hoc data visualisations following Tesco best-practice;
  • Helping define business objectives/customer needs by capturing the right requirements from the right customers;
  • Performing data quality checks to ensure credibility of analyses;
  • Help to decide what content they should be commissioning more/less of, for example, what topics best resonate with different types of customers;
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience with visualisation and reporting tools;
  • Logical and numerate;
  • A strong commercial understanding of retail and the key drivers for online trading (product, price, placement and promotion);
  • Uses sound judgment to identify issues and escalates when appropriate;
  • Effective time management;
  • Proven web analytics experience is a bonus but not necessary Google Analytics/GA360, Adobe Analytics;
  • Experience of data visualisation platforms including Tableau and Google Data Studio (preferable);
  • Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team;
  • Ability to identify key needs or gaps;
  • Approaches jobs in an organised and systematic manner;
  • Experience in data modelling;
  • Proven commercial experience extracting data with SQL is also a bonus but will be learn on the job;
  • Highly proficient in using Google Analytics, Excel;
  • Handles multiple tasks, switches priorities and focuses as needed;
  • A passion for our customers and a desire to learn and understand their buying behavious.
