Our company is looking for a Director of Business Systems to join our team.


  • Analyse Go To Market processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency by automating, minimising and offloading low value activities;
  • Determine best in class solutions to support each business group and implement and support solutions to the teams on an ongoing basis;
  • Working closely with each business area and being the key stakeholder in providing them with the detailed and optimised process workflows;
  • Evaluate tool usability and drive improvements and adoption on a continuous basis;
  • Ensure there are clear application roadmaps in place for each major business sector;
  • Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems;
  • Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues;
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices;
  • Drive the long term vision, strategy, roadmap for Business Systems at Turnitin;
  • Enable your team to provide continuous support to the solutions you provide;
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team.


  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills;
  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Hands on SSRS reporting experience;
  • Ability to effectively manage staff;
  • Experienced in Leading SAP based ERP support and implementations;
  • Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines;
  • Experienced with designing, implementing and maintaining SharePoint environments;
  • Proficient with MS Project or similar software and MS Office applications;
  • Fundamental understanding of web-based systems programming and development;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills;
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams;
  • Self-motivated with ability to drive projects;
  • PMP certification;
  • SQL experience.
