Events Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Events Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating events and workshops;
- Responding to queries from delegates and offering prompt and helpful customer service;
- Assisting with logistics of multiple events;
- Providing regular reports;
- Maintaining websites and social media;
- Sales Support – using Salesforce.com;
- Providing general support to the Coordinator Group when necessary;
- Data management, processing information;
- Supporting the events team with Admin and making sure the database is up to date;
- Scheduling team meetings, composing agendas/minutes;
- Ensuring all materials are collated in preparation for the events;
- Answering telephone calls and emails;
- Administration of all aspects of several annual events for the central administration (e.g. Christmas Party, Honorary Fellows Dinner);
- Process invoices, payments and related financial documents as necessary;
- Creating and sending email newsletters.
Requirements:
- Previous events experience is not necessary but preferable, administration experience is a must;
- Effective time management;
- Ability to use initiative and prioritise own workload;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
