Our company is looking for a Events Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating events and workshops;
  • Responding to queries from delegates and offering prompt and helpful customer service;
  • Assisting with logistics of multiple events;
  • Providing regular reports;
  • Maintaining websites and social media;
  • Sales Support – using Salesforce.com;
  • Providing general support to the Coordinator Group when necessary;
  • Data management, processing information;
  • Supporting the events team with Admin and making sure the database is up to date;
  • Scheduling team meetings, composing agendas/minutes;
  • Ensuring all materials are collated in preparation for the events;
  • Answering telephone calls and emails;
  • Administration of all aspects of several annual events for the central administration (e.g. Christmas Party, Honorary Fellows Dinner);
  • Process invoices, payments and related financial documents as necessary;
  • Creating and sending email newsletters.

Requirements:

  • Previous events experience is not necessary but preferable, administration experience is a must;
  • Effective time management;
  • Ability to use initiative and prioritise own workload;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
