Our company is looking for a Events Executive to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking care of administrative tasks associated with their events;
  • Drawing up a list of key event deadlines and ensuring all tasks are managed to a precise schedule and costs do not exceed agreed budget/ forecast;
  • Build strong relationship with Partners, fee earners and the wider BD team to establish and work towards the goal;
  • Gained feedback post event;
  • Maintenance and delivery of the firm-wide events schedule;
  • Staying abreast of new venue openings, technologies and entertainment ideas, positioning yourself as an events ‘expert’ to colleagues in the firm;
  • Attend all events, being the first point of contact for any queries;
  • Report on ROI for events to track effectiveness and develop recommendations for future plans;
  • Liaise and collaborate with caterers, external venues, A/V suppliers and internal operations teams, negotiating prices / spend where applicable;
  • Manage event bookings and ensure that all events run smoothly with the support of the wider business;
  • Manage the events calendar;
  • Managing a wide variety of off-site events;
  • Managing relationships with clients and service providers;
  • Monitor, plan and allocate event budgets, while keeping internal events database updated;
  • Identify opportunities for creative approaches, innovation and use of tech to make events more engaging.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Customer Service experience;
  • Have previous Events experience;
  • Immediately available to start;
  • Very organised and calm under pressure, working to tight deadlines;
  • Demonstrable track record of success in planning, administering and coordinating events of various scales and levels of complexity;
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills in English, with a high degree of accuracy;
  • Ability to consistently deliver high-quality results;
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about events;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • Proven experience of organising a range of corporate events, including conferences and exhibitions;
  • Previous project management experience;
  • A true passion for events;
  • Proofreading promotional materials;
  • Confidence in engaging with senior colleagues and clients;
  • Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders.
