Our company is looking for a Expo & Events Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Process, distribute and monitor participant lists and other leads to generate customer enquiries and client requests;
  • Prepare and issue freight quotations and schedules with follow up as required;
  • Provide appropriate, correct and timely Customs treatment of customer shipments at export and import;
  • Build positive relationships with new and prospective customers, suppliers and agents as well as other departments of K&N;
  • Proactive communication to all stakeholders associated with client shipments with particular focus on document accuracy;
  • Deliver excellence in all operations; Ensuring safe and time-definite delivery/installation of customer shipments to events in UK & overseas;
  • Lead service delivery teams at events ensuring all parties maintain high standards of customer care and operational performance.

Requirements:

  • Numerate and literate;
  • Target oriented;
  • Work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Detailed understanding of Customs rules, regulations and procedures;
  • Previous experience working in a logistics operation across multiple sectors and lanes;
  • Team-player, capable of developing strong rapport with colleagues and customers;
  • Knowledge of world geography;
  • Good people skills; personable, persuasive and presentable with high levels of drive, energy and self-motivation;
  • Ability to speak a foreign language is advantageous;
  • Attention to detail.
