Our company is looking for a External Audit Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing full audit lifecycle of external audit engagements whilst assisting in the development of junior auditors;
  • Assist in business development opportunities with new and existing clients;
  • Counsel, appraise, develop and motivate staff as appropriate;
  • Provide training to junior staff, both on the job and through more formalized training programs;
  • Assisting Partners with the development of internal practice procedures;
  • Plan staff assignments in order to give an appropriate spread of experience;
  • Manage a portfolio of audit clients including control of billings and cash collection.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing engagements and teams;
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent);
  • Experience in working with financial services clients;
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
