External Audit Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a External Audit Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing full audit lifecycle of external audit engagements whilst assisting in the development of junior auditors;
- Assist in business development opportunities with new and existing clients;
- Counsel, appraise, develop and motivate staff as appropriate;
- Provide training to junior staff, both on the job and through more formalized training programs;
- Assisting Partners with the development of internal practice procedures;
- Plan staff assignments in order to give an appropriate spread of experience;
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients including control of billings and cash collection.
Requirements:
- Experience managing engagements and teams;
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent);
- Experience in working with financial services clients;
- Working knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
