Finance Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Finance Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis;
- Financial calculations – using various software tools and packages;
- Inputting financial information onto spreadsheets/databases;
- Financial reporting – detailed and summary analysis;
- Delivering client solutions;
- Quality-checking information and identifying anomalies;
- Supporting AP processes, providing input and guidance when required;
- Providing analysis to support the preparation of tax reporting and claims;
- Monitoring and reconciling balance sheet controls, in order to ensure a limited exposure to the financial P&L;
- Producing insightful variance analysis, along with performance commentary;
- Calculation and processing of monthly journals (including accruals & prepayments) ensuring accuracy and timeliness in completion;
- Maintaining a range of ledgers;
- Being responsible for the book keeping for all assigned entities – ensuring accurate accounting and completion of the reconciliation packs;
- Training, development and support of colleagues;
- Reporting including management, budgets and audit.
