Finance Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Finance Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Financial Controller / Commercial teams;
- Liaising with the project team;
- Producing quotations for jobs and processing the receipt of customer purchase orders;
- The role will require extensive project management experience and the skills required to deliver a complex and multi-faceted project end to end;
- Preparation of monthly and weekly performance reports and project forecasts;
- Ensuring that financial controls are followed within the projects teams;
- Leading projects to review and strengthen internal controls, governance and risk management;
- Review key risks and identify potetial risks;

- Work closely with Operations Managers in understanding key cost drives of contract profitability;
- Business analysis;
- Co-ordinate team members and schedule project timelines;

Requirements:
- Influencing skills at a senior level;
- Either relevant financial qualifications (AAT/ CIMA ect.), training towards them or be qualified by experience;
- Good time-management skills able to set and work to tight deadlines;
- Ability to influence key decision makers at all level;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation;
- People management experience and excellent communication skills;
- Proven experience in a client facing role;
- Excellent organisations skills able to prioritise and manage change effectively;
- ACCA/CIMA or ACCA Qualified;
- Excellent knowledge of accounting processes and terminology.
