Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of statutory accounts;
- Undertake Sales and Margin analysis, providing insightful information and trends;
- Reconciliation of US GAAP / UK IFRS in statutory accounts;
- Review inventory levels and provide analysis of stock turns;
- Undertake the annual costing review and standard cost roll;
- Journal preparation and control;
- Provide SOX compliance to cycle counting, access controls, segregation of duty;
- Production of annual budgets;
- Maintaining fixed assets registers in line with both US GAAP / UK IFRS;
- Treasury management;
- Production of Weekly forecasts;
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Full driving license;
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field. CPA preferred;
- Excellent interpersonal Skills;
- Ability to demonstrate influencing skills;
- Typically requires a minimum of five years business related experience;
- Effective written and verbal communication skills;
- Educated to degree level;
- Customer excellence focused;
- GCSE or equivalent;
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
- Qualified Accountant.
