Our company is looking for a FP&A Analyst to join our team.


  • Ad-hoc analytical finance and accounting duties;
  • Offering innovative solutions to the business needs and processes;
  • Ad-hoc analysis to inform decision making;
  • Other ad hoc duties as required, including assistance with financial analyses for specific business projects for the Senior Leadership team;
  • Budgeting, forecasts and variance analysis;
  • Production of Monthly Income Statement and associated commentary;
  • Maintain a Risks and Opps tracker, review with Head of FP&A and circulate to Group CFO on a weekly basis;
  • Carry out any other ad hoc tasks;
  • Key role in the Financial Planning and Analysis team providing analysis and reporting that will drive business decisions;
  • Adhoc analysis as needed by manager and wider Senior Management;
  • Month end calls with Finance teams to understand performance and outlook;
  • Month end responsibility for commissions and bonuses;
  • Partnering with business to deliver robust reporting, forecasting and budgeting;
  • Review of Managements Accounts, carrying out detailed variance analysis to understand drivers on performance, articulated in a clear concise way;
  • Interrogation of internal CRM & BI tool to provide commercial insight, analysis and decision support to the business.


  • Comfortable presenting to senior management;
  • Prior technology experience;
  • Must be an expert Excel user to handle large amounts of data and be able to manipulate and interpret it in a desirable output;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build relationships, manage expectations while interacting with all levels of management;
  • Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA);
  • Has the ability to take ownership of an area and drive improvement;
  • Excellent system and modelling skills (SAGE, Excel, BI, Business Modelling tools (TM1) and other related systems);
  • Financial modelling and data interrogation in Excel;
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA etc);
  • Ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data;
  • Strong Communication, presentation and influencing skills to be able to communicate efficiently to finance and non-finance stakeholders;
  • Communication – in all forms for each audience;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in financial planning & analysis;
  • Educated to a degree level ideally within a Finance related discipline.
