Our company is looking for a Indirect Tax Analyst to join our team.


  • Ensuring VAT postings are correct;
  • Prepare miscellaneous VAT reconciliations and follow up outstanding items;
  • Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet VAT accounts;
  • Add value which produces P&L (and cash flow) benefits by eliminating irrecoverable VAT and recovering overpaid VAT;
  • The above includes working closely with the VAT team in Prague to identify and correct tax postings errors;
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to address issues identified during compliance process (e.g. incorrect invoice postings);
  • Review internal controls and processes and ensure that the correct net amount of VAT is payable;
  • Complete master data for new material codes;
  • Drive continuous improvements in the Indirect Tax return compliance process, through optimising systems data and building streamlined processes;
  • Complete forms to ensure that master data set ups for VAT are correct;
  • Take ownership of monthly Intrastat returns;
  • Assisting with Ad Hoc projects or tasks when required;
  • To assist with VAT reports, VAT return submission and analysis;
  • To assist with responding to queries on VAT accounting;
  • Management of the month/quarter/year end financial close process and taking care of issues as they arise.


  • Trainee accountant with a minimum of 2 years financial experience;
