- Liaising with internal stakeholders throughout the group to understand issues and shape team priorities;
- Demonstrable breadth of technical knowledge around cloud and physical infrastructure, especially on AWS but also Azure and VMWare;
- Guaranteeing secure, resilient and cost-effective cloud and physical infrastructure across the Group, with particular focus on AWS;
- Responsible for ensuring the inputs from internal system anomalies are addressed and support data-driven, analytical decision-making;
- Develop and maintain the delivery platform for end users;
- Acting as project lead on all internal IT projects. * Responsible for IT service delivery according to agreed metrics;
- Demonstrable ability to build collaborative relationships and solve issues by engaging the right people at the right time.
Requirements:
- Experience of leading and developing technical engineers;
- Experience of Office365 interoperability;
- Experienced in the design and implementation of MS Azure based services including ADFS, Virtualisation, SaaS and PaaS;
- AWS – EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation;
- Network/Communication experience (IP, Routing, WAN, LAN, VLAN);
- Solid experience of managing on-premise and hybrid server solutions;
- Experience working within VMWare virtualised environments;
- Experience of Azure DR and backup solutions.
