International Financial Accountant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a International Financial Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Close working with local country accountants and outsourced accounts providers;
- Other ad-hoc financial or company administration duties;
- Consolidation and evaluation of monthly cashflow forecasts;
- Liaise with US Finance Shared Services and 3rd party providers to complete accounting activities as necessary,
- Maintaining the register of bank signatories and local company compliance;
- Review 3rd party month end packages of international subsidiaries and upload to ERP systems;
- Assisting with preparation, review and audit of statutory accounts for overseas entities;
- Assisting with local audits and review of tax filings;
- To support in the development and implementation of a global financial assurance programme;
- Support in additional projects and analysis;
- Preparation and maintenance of monthly management accounts, including recording all journal entries for multiple UK and international entities,
- Completing and submission of regular business surveys,
- Support with external audit requirements for designated entities,
- Preparing regular and ad hoc financial reports, analyses and forecasts;
- Day to day management of AP function,
Requirements:
- Advanced Excel skills incl. data manipulation,
- Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal;
- Proactive and delivery focus approach to all responsibilities with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through,
- NetSuite and Oracle experience desirable;
- Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail,
