Our company is looking for a IT Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and deploy new hardware and software;
  • 1 st call help desk support for approximately 300 employees across multiple offices;
  • Interface with technical support from vendors and suppliers;
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software;
  • The IT Analyst will provide all levels of technical support to end-users;
  • Provide desk-side support to Cambridge based employees and remote support to staff across multiple European countries;
  • Networking of printers and data network shares;
  • Comply with IT Policies and SOPs;
  • Diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical problems;
  • Work with software and hardware vendors on support issues;
  • Administration of local licence servers and software licensing;
  • Participate in local projects and European IT projects, acting as technical or IT lead where required;
  • Track assets as they are received, deployed and redeployed;
  • Document support processes and procedures;
  • Collaborate with IT team members and provide support on IT projects.

Requirements:

  • Industry certification is a plus;
  • BioPharma industry experience is a plus;
  • Client management tools (Dell Kace);
  • Interface with technical support from vendors and suppliers;
  • Flexibility to work on more than one project at once;
  • Be team-oriented and possess strong integrity and professionalism;

  • Experience in supporting Windows, Server, MS Office environments;
  • Minimum of 8 years 2nd/3rd Line IT Support within a fast-paced environment;
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software;
  • Strong technical aptitude; and;
  • TCP/IP including basic switch configuration, network patching, understanding of VLANs, routing and troubleshooting, wireless networking;
  • Comfortable dealing with users and stakeholders at all levels;
  • Successful candidates have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to work well with differing personality types.
