Junior Business Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the business requirements behind the upcoming Roadmap items for the Platform;
- Create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations;
- Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques;
- Provide timely answers/ solutions utilising data and visualisation tools to answer business problems;
- Work with the team to translate business requirements into functional requirements;
- Work with Product Owners (POs), Marketing and Commercials to understand products, market and competitors;
- Working with IT & business departments to ensure that functional requirements are deliverable and sustainable;
- Document current processes with a view to mapping workflows and standardise across the organisation;
- Manage additional requirements scope through the approved change process;
- Capture requirements;
- Develop excellent communication and presentation skills to help customers get the most of our products and services;
- Provide guidance and assistance to project team members;
- Assist sales with client meetings with the purpose of gathering requirements;
- Engaging with stakeholders internally & externally;
- Assist the Business Consultants, Service Transition Managers and Project Managers in the construction of scope and project approach.
Requirements:
- Data/ Business Analysis;
- Experience using Wire Framing tools (Balsamiq Mockups);
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal;
- Experience working with SAP technology;
- Experienced working in an Agile/Scrum development process;
- Jira Usage;
- 1-3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst (type) position;
- Project Management;
- Power BI/ Tableau;
- Good understanding of BDD testing (BeHat);
- Salesforce;
- Fluency in English;
- SAP;
- Excel, PowerPoint;
- Confluence Usage.
