Our company is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to influence, make decision and execute projects;
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and be seen as an integral member of the project delivery team;
  • Design and develop project, including researching trends and latest technology;
  • Identify, allocate and co-ordinate resources to projects;
  • Planning & managing project schedules to ensure on-time delivery;
  • Working with clients over the phone, email and face to face to agree project objectives;
  • Coordinating with partner teams who submit requests for notifications and who require regular updates regarding their progress;
  • Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors;
  • Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets;
  • Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates;
  • Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others;
  • Moving notifications through the various approval chains and ensuring those approvals are granted in a timely manner;
  • Working closely with internal teams to solve queries for their partners;
  • Liaising with senior stakeholders in multiple businesses to collect data;
  • Creating a tracking system to monitor the data collection process.

Requirements:

  • DC on and off boarding;
  • Proven ability to thrive and excel in a fast-paced dynamic environment with high performance expectations;
  • Experience in steel, stainless steel, or aluminium manufacturing, engineering or fabrication is a plus;
  • Experience managing projects and tracking performance through data;
  • First-Aid;
  • Be a graduate plus 1 to 4 years working towards chartership with a professional body (APM, RICS or Chartered Engineering Institution);
  • SMSTS;
  • Previous Housing Development Experience, RC frame and advantage;
  • Knowledge of project programming and scheduling software, e.g. MS Project;
  • Prior experience, with a track record of project delivery in a previous Project Management, Operations, Logistics or similar coordination-based role;
  • A passion for organisation and operations, and the ability to juggle multiple projects;
  • Highly analytical (Advanced Excel) and a great problem solver;
  • Ability to work with multiple senior stakeholders and build relationships;
  • Sharp financial awareness – budgets and reporting and ability to analyse figures;
  • You must be personable, friendly and display a willingness to ramp up and put in extra effort when workloads are high and deadlines are looming.
