Our company is looking for a Lead Auditor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting factory personnel with Quality/Technical issues and audits;
- Ability to manage larger or multi-discipline projects;
- Ensuring audits are carried out to the relevant standard• Making contact with Supplier or Site Representatives to arrange audits;
- Assisting with training of factory personnel as required;
- Takes responsibility to acquire, extend and maintain qualifications and career development;
- Works independently within several areas and disciplines;
- Actively contributes to the success of the team and collaborates to create results;
- Ensuring up to date raw material specs are obtained and held for each site;
- Asks for and acts on feedback to learn and improve;
- Plan, implement, prepare and review of audits in compliance with accreditation requirements and TÜV Rheinland procedures;
- Report on a regular basis to your superior;
- Prepare, plan and conduct audits;
- Keep all on-going audit projects up-to-date according to the requirements;
- Build customer loyalty by quality driven auditing and professional approach;
- Business development activities: identify and implement new services.
Requirements:
- Internal audit experience gained within a professional services firm (Big 4 / Top 10) or a large and complex commercial organisation;
- Good communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, and when required, meet scepticism;
- Knowledge and experience of data analytics would be beneficial;
- Strong knowledge of key business processes, internal control frameworks and risk management principles;
- Travel will be limited and largely UK based;
- A full accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CCAB).
