Logistics Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Logistics Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Using company systems to input customer reports;
- You will be actively involved with supporting all global operations;
- Data entry and updating the systems and keeping all documentation up to date and organised;
- Liaising between the transport and the customers;
- Arranging flights and hotels for staff and operatives;
- Processing paperwork accurately and maintaining the company database;
- Processing orders;
- Raising invoices;
- Communicating with the customer and colleagues to make sure all requests are met, completley to standard and are on time;
- Ensure product delivery & receipting of goods is undertaken to a high level of accuracy;
- Logging variances with haulier for investigation;
- Handling all tasks from start to finish and ensure all files are completed and passed to the accounts department for invoicing;
- Support the end to end service within BT;
- Creating/extracting/updating information to/from spreadsheets;
- Compare trends/previous periods information.
Requirements:
- Proven organisation skills;
- Previous experience working within a veterinary practice environment would be a bonus, but this is not essential;
- Excellent PC Skills including, Word, Excel And Outlook;
- Be self-motivated able to use own initiative and multi-task;
- Advanced excel skills including VLookup and Pivot Tables;
- Microsfot Excel;
- Time management, prioritising work;
- Excellent interpersonal skills-persuasive, empathetic,able to handle conflict and pressure;
- Logistics background is preferred;
- Supply chain experience;
- European language skills would be an added bonus;
- Fantastic customer service skills;
- Outlook;
- Microsoft Work;
- Strong mathematical skills.
