Logistics Procurement Category Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Logistics Procurement Category Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers and improving relations as well as managing their impact on the procurement process.
Requirements:
- British /EU passport or relevant visa;
- A background in FMCG is preferred;
- Strong academic record including MCIPS qualified;
- Large amounts of experience in managing multiple categories and delivering significant savings;
- Experience in indirect procurement overlooking the entire process end to end including managing of multiple 3rd party suppliers;
- MCIPS/CIPS qualified is preferred;
- Proven track record of successfully managing indirect procurement processes including dealing with 3rd party suppliers;
- A strong analytical mind and ability to think strategically in order to deliver results to the larger picture and the whole procurement process.
