Mechanical Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that projects are delivered to the correct specifications and required quality / industry standards;
- Predicting cost to completion;
- Financial Management;
- Planning work in a way which ensures that key milestones and completion dates are achieved;
- The ability to build a relationship with both the client;
- Commissioning;
- Cost forecasting and monitoring;
- To manage the daily activities of subcontractors regarding H&S, Quality & Program;
- Project scheduling and progress reporting and resource deployment;
- Delivering design and build projects;
- Assisting the mechanical building services team in the delivery of specific mechanical packages;
- Risk management;
- Lead weekly progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors;
- Producing record and maintenance manuals including record drawings and manufacturers literature;
- Oversee Junior Project Engineers, working in full support of their development and future role with the company.
Requirements:
- Up to 7 years post qualification experience in the industrial construction sector;
- Strong commercial management background;
- Honours Degreeā¦.Project Management/Engineering/QS;
- Construction and site management experience in the mechanical services and related sector;
- Must be a positive player on the management team;
- A positive attitude with a passion to succeed;
- Excellent presentation & IT skills;
- HNC in Building Services Engineering.
