Our company is looking for a Mortgage Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Action any necessary tasks following the meeting including the processing of mortgages, protection or GI cases;
  • Keying in mortgage applications;
  • Stationary checks;
  • Undertake general office duties (filing, scanning, answering the telephones, sorting post etc);
  • Speaking with lenders, solicitors, estate agents and customers;
  • Dealing with incoming telephone calls and queries from customers and consultants;
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheet on competitors’ information;
  • To process applications to completion;
  • Attend trade shows;
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner;
  • Inputting mortgage applications on to lenders systems;
  • Work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload;
  • Flexible and pragmatic approach;
  • Creating and maintaining client records;
  • Liaising with other departments.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent approach to customer service;
  • Graduate (any discipline) with a minimum of 12 months post-graduation work experience;
  • Strong communicator, particularly a confident telephone manner;
  • Experience of the mortgage industry is not essential, but could be beneficial.
