Our company is looking for a Mortgage Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Action any necessary tasks following the meeting including the processing of mortgages, protection or GI cases;
- Keying in mortgage applications;
- Stationary checks;
- Undertake general office duties (filing, scanning, answering the telephones, sorting post etc);
- Speaking with lenders, solicitors, estate agents and customers;
- Dealing with incoming telephone calls and queries from customers and consultants;
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheet on competitors’ information;
- To process applications to completion;
- Attend trade shows;
- Answer incoming calls in a professional manner;
- Inputting mortgage applications on to lenders systems;
- Work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload;
- Flexible and pragmatic approach;
- Creating and maintaining client records;
- Liaising with other departments.
Requirements:
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent approach to customer service;
- Graduate (any discipline) with a minimum of 12 months post-graduation work experience;
- Strong communicator, particularly a confident telephone manner;
- Experience of the mortgage industry is not essential, but could be beneficial.
