Part Qualified Management Accountant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls and ensuring they are maintained;
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for local management;
- Assist with annual budgets;
- Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements;
- Preparation of monthly sales analysis weekly;
- Bank recs and inter-co balance reconciliation /Journals for depreciation, accruals and prepayments;
- Monthly consolidation of management accounts;
- VAT returns;
- Preparation of monthly management accounts;
- Reporting;
- Any other adhoc duties;
- Assisting with the preparation of Audits;
- Trade loan & invoice finance management;
- Accruals and Prepayments;
- Explaining Finance to non finance stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to work in a multi-currency environment;
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Analytical and logical problem solving skills, with excellent attention to detail;
- Compelling written and oral communications skills;
- Sound ability to in prepare management accounts, including journal processing;
- Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task;
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills;
- Knowledge of SAP By Design or Xero is desirable, but not essential;
- Excellent academic record with a degree from a top university;
- Experience in a multi-currency manufacturing environment is an advantage;
- Educated to degree level with excellent academics;
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work at all levels of the organisation (from the least experienced to senior management);
- Ability to work quickly to a high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail (essential);
- Adaptable team player with a hands on approach.
