Our company is looking for a Payroll Accountant to join our team.


  • Ensure timely production and delivery of business reporting suite and other documents for use by BU managers;
  • Maintain all required documentation in compliance with legal requirements;
  • Assist with updating all accounting schedules, due to changes from ERP implementation;
  • Maintain tax compliance calendar and schedules to support all company tax filing requirements including state, federal & 1099-MISC;
  • Provide a Financial Accounting service of accurate and efficient transaction processing and ledger maintenance to agreed standards;
  • Ensure and review adequate financial controls are in place and are adhered to;
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, both internal and external, and key business representatives;
  • Complete finance projects as assigned;
  • Research technical accounting solutions for new and existing business issues of moderate to difficult scope and complexity.

  • Strong Excel;
  • Computer literate, proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word and Office;
  • String communication skills internal & external;
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills;
  • Payroll Accounting experience/understanding required;
  • Experience of working within finance shared services, including finance processes and ERP environments, is desirable;
  • Ideally have exposure to Financial or Professional Services;
  • Oracle experience and exposure;
  • Accountancy qualification – ACA, ACCA or CIMA;
  • Experience of working within a Finance environment;
  • Understanding of payroll accounting and experience in reconciliation of payroll control accounts is essential.
