Our company is looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue quarterly portfolio reports to funders and/or appropriate third party organisations as required;
  • Ensure that all new properties within the assigned portfolio are recorded accurately on in-house software;
  • Work with the Revenue and Benefits team to ensure that the assigned portfolio maximizes its income;
  • Deal with DPS/deposit resolutions & chase arrears;
  • Answer all incoming communications (internal & external);
  • Attention to all H&S issues, including hazard and accident reporting;
  • Ensure that property maintenance issues are resolved in a timely & cost effective manner;
  • Process appointments and feedback to landlord;
  • Min 3 years experience in capital market field;
  • Negotiating rent reviews across commercial assets, which may include; retail, offices, leisure and alternatives;
  • Tenant referencing and liaison with landlords & tenants;
  • Blockchain knowledge;
  • CFA/CAIA holder (preferred);
  • To communicate confidently and regularly in portfolio review meetings with internally and externally;
  • Making crucial portfolio decisions for the company’s portfolio model under various market & economic conditions.

Requirements:

  • High degree of competence across the Microsoft Office software suite;
  • Experience of working in partnership with other agencies to achieve results;
  • Experience of having sole accountability for a property or client-based portfolio;
  • Experience of working within a housing association;
  • Excellent organizational ability;
  • Strong analytical ability and report writing skills;
  • Solutions focused, self-motivated and able to use own initiative;
  • Ability to see other leads for sales purposes;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Negotiation skills to achieve the best outcome for the business and the customer;
  • Strong Customer Service skills;
  • Previous commercial property management experience essential;
  • MRICS desired but not essential;
  • Ability to work under own initiative & manage your own time;
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
