Project Manager (Joinery) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Project Manager (Joinery) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve any supplier issues;
- Manage lead times with the door manufacturer to ensure a constant supply on site;
- Liaise with the site management teams regarding deliveries;
- Visit site to ensure site are happy and doors are delivered on time, to the right quality and specification;
- Work closely with door manufacturer reviewing specification and quality.
Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD/Inventor and showcase packages;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellent knowledge of external and internal joinery items;
- Extensive knowledge of associated materials, products and finishes;
- Strong written skills;
- Excellent in personal time management with the ability to multitask;
- Knowledge of site surveys to ensure that cabinetry and joinery fits within the confines of the building;
- Be able to build strong relationships with site teams and workshop teams alike;
- Ability to hand sketch to communicate initial design ideas;
- Have a natural ability of being able to work in a team and equally on your own when required.
