Our company is looking for a Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of project scope definitions, plans and schedules, including the identification of resource requirements;
  • Management of change – technical and commercial;
  • Ensure effective timely communication and provision of information is maintained throughout the project, change and development lifecycle;
  • Drawing up a detailed plan of how to achieve each stage of the project, as well as an overall plan;
  • Weekly overview and delivery assurance meeting;
  • This person must be independent, flexible and creative to respond to customers and projects as they may occur;
  • Managing multiple projects across implementation and change management;
  • Ensure there is a proactive approach to manage the Health & Safety on site;
  • Leading and assisting with contract enforcement, evaluating non-conformance, dispute resolution and other remedies;
  • Scheduling meetings;
  • On-site management;
  • Proactively provide solutions to improve the performance of the account and project management;
  • Controlling vendors/contractors from tender through to construction;
  • Be part of the solution design to customer during the scoping phase. Create project delivery plans that will be part of the proposal;
  • Ensure all devices are successfully transitioned from project to BAU.

Requirements:

  • Highly Organised;
  • A good team person who can develop good working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers alike;
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills; able to present complex ideas at the appropriate level to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Civil engineering/Geology related degree or equivalent;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Customer oriented approach;
  • Communication;
  • Financial and budgetary experience;
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as an engineer in the industry, or similar role;
  • Ability to present to a large group;
  • Highly organised and able to drive projects forwards;
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with different file formats;
  • Good verbal and written presentation skills;
