Our company is looking for a Proposal Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • To liaise with clients on a regular basis and develop sound business relationships;
  • To assist with project management, if required;
  • Hand-over briefings and onward commercial guidance of execution phase project management process;
  • Represent Fugro at client meetings for proposal clarification and contract negotiations;
  • To contribute to Fugro marketing strategy and perform marketing of company activities;
  • To ensure tenders are produced on time and to the highest quality;
  • Maintaining Avalon, PSO and other administrative records with up to date records;
  • Liaison with Fugro commercial team and business development staff to aid in the preparation of winning proposals;
  • Developing ways of capturing bid and client information;
  • Developing compelling and client-focused pitch content;
  • Coordinating presentation rehearsals, and leading training and coaching;
  • Developing best practice and training;
  • Leading pitches and developing the pitch strategy;
  • Analysing incoming big pitch opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Be able to anticipate problems and ensure earlier intervention;
  • A first degree in a business, science-based discipline or equivalent experience;
  • Knowledge/prior experience of the pitch system Foundation;
  • Able to negotiate postive outcomes;
  • Understanding of Client needs;
  • Excellent influencing skills;
  • Experience of coaching senior figures;
  • Able to seek innovating solutions to Client needs;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • A track record of managing proposals end-to-end in a professional services environment.
