Regulatory Reporting Accountant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Appling a detailed understanding of the Solvency II regulation to the reporting;
- Preparing Board and Audit Committee papers;
- Interacting with senior stakeholders withing Group Finance;
- Supporting the production of quarterly and annual external financial and regulatory reporting;
- Act as on of the key liaisons with the external auditors;
- To participate in the teamwork of ICAAP preparation, contributing to dynamic capital planning and stress testing;
- Obtain Senior Management sign-off for COREP, PRA, FCA and BoE returns with full explanations for movements;
- Assist with preparation of the annual submission of Reportable accounts to HMRC as part of AEoI requirements;
- To review Axiom exception reports and ensure Departments clear all items promptly;
- Constantly improve and ensure procedures are up to date;
- Prepare Bank of England statistical returns and FINREP returns;
- To participate in Pillar 3 disclosure and capital adequacy supervision;
- Learn and keep up to date with Regulatory legislation and practices;
- To prepare and fully understand all aspects of the monthly Liquidity returns (COREP and FSA);
- To work with Financial Control to receive a fully adjusted general ledger and reconcile to AXIOM system on a monthly basis for all returns.
