Senior Pensions Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Pensions Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Daily liaison with Trustees, Clients, Scheme Members and Financial Advisers;
- Manage annual and periodic scheme events, such as pension increase and annual renewal exercises;
- Developing current process and systems;
- Checking/authorising colleagues work;
- Contribution processing;
- Payment of benefits using payroll systems and monitoring ongoing pension benefit cases;
- To continually consider and execute the FSA’s principle of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF);
- Day to day pension management;
- Calculation of pension increases;
- Peer review your colleagues work and provide guidance when required;
- Membership reconciliations;
- Liaising with pension providers and financial advisers;
- Delivering pragmatic solutions;
- To professionally and promptly communicate with clients and scheme members on queries when required this will be via letter, e-mail and telephone;
- To promote and market The Local Authorities Pension Scheme (designing literature etc.).
Requirements:
