Our company is looking for a Senior Pensions Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily liaison with Trustees, Clients, Scheme Members and Financial Advisers;
  • Manage annual and periodic scheme events, such as pension increase and annual renewal exercises;
  • Developing current process and systems;
  • Checking/authorising colleagues work;
  • Contribution processing;
  • Payment of benefits using payroll systems and monitoring ongoing pension benefit cases;
  • To continually consider and execute the FSA’s principle of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF);
  • Day to day pension management;
  • Calculation of pension increases;
  • Peer review your colleagues work and provide guidance when required;
  • Membership reconciliations;
  • Liaising with pension providers and financial advisers;
  • Delivering pragmatic solutions;
  • To professionally and promptly communicate with clients and scheme members on queries when required this will be via letter, e-mail and telephone;
  • To promote and market The Local Authorities Pension Scheme (designing literature etc.).
