Sourcing Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Execute category reviews on time and deliver within savings boundaries;
- Assess category data for savings opportunities;
- Participate in the realisations of collaborations across projects and sites in UK and EU;
- Balanced Supply Chain;
- Deliver long term susitanable savings;
- Draft, award and manage contracts with suppliers linked to KPI’s;
- Building and influencing strong and trusting relationships with the most qualified suppliers of the business;
- Align with customer stakeholders plan for delivery;
- Value Chain Analysis;
- Raw material risk management;
- Manage procurement process with internal and external stakeholders (RFI/RFP);
- Follow and meet all the key targets whilst working on crucial procurement strategies;
- Monitor supplier performance and develop suppliers which can add value through continuous improvement and innovative solutions;
- Manage assured supply and risk across all categories reviewed Contingency management;
- Hold weekly project meetings and update project plan and overview documentation.
Requirements:
- Strong academic background, Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation skills allowing you to communicate on a corporate level;
- 4+ years of experience in Procurement and Contract Management, preferably within sustainable energy sector;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint;
- Be impeccable at building relationships with the key stakeholders internally and externally at all levels.
